Go Go Kiwi Detox Smoothie

This smoothie is a tasty way to get things moving, if you know what I mean. Kiwifruit is full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatories. Wheatgrass provides a healthy dosage of concentrated nutrients such as vitamins A, B, C and E; magnesium, iron, calcium, zinc and amino acids. What’s more, kiwi also helps with digestion. Other pluses include vitamin C, folate, potassium and fiber. 

Servings: 4 smoothies 

Ingredients

  • 4 kiwifruit
  • 2 Limes, Juice of
  • 3 tbsp Wheatgrass (snipped)
  • 2 Tbsp Mint leaves
  • 1 Apple juice
  • ½ cup Ice cubes
  • A handful of spinach or other leafy green
  • 1 tablespoon of Sea Moss Gel

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the kiwifruit. Put in a blender and add the wheat grass and the juice of the limes.
  2. Roughly chop the mint leaves and add with the ice.
  3. Blend, while adding enough apple juice to reach a smooth and drinkable consistency. Pour into glasses and serve.
